This Mamod Traction Engine is a brilliant working model of an English traction engine. With high details and full metal construction with a painted brass boiler, water level gauge, safety valve for the steam release, and reversing lever. Includes a removable canopy and steering extension. The flywheel is spoke die cast and runs a drive belt connected to the rear wheel. Include a working steam whistle as the model steams up for its journey.

This Mamod Model won the ‘Boys’ Toy of the Year for 1972, presented by The National Association of Toy Retailers.
