The Mamod Steam Roller is a brilliantly engineered model of a
steam roller powered by a steam engine, used in the early part
of the 19th century for road construction in the UK. The brass
boiler is painted and contains a water gauge, a safety valve for
the steam, and a pull chain steam whistle. The brass piston and
cylinder powers the flywheel that drives the belt to the rear
wheel. You can steer this steam roller with the front chassis
steering and extension.
